General Manager (Operations)

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure maximum plant availability for production.

• Ensure breakdowns are attended to and resolved in the shortest possible time.

• Manage and maintain appropriate staffing levels.

• Plan and coordinate production to meet dispatch requirements.

• Conduct daily staff debriefings at 07:25 and allocate duties.

• Coordinate maintenance and repair activities.

• Ensure plant access control procedures are adhered to.

• Liaise and coordinate with logistics regarding production and dispatch requirements.

• Ensure weekly sales figures and costing information are submitted to the Managing Director every Friday.

• Perform any other duties assigned by the Managing Director.
