PRODUCTIVITY SPECIALIST: Supply Chain / Logistics / FMCG / Warehousing / Transport / Manufacturing
The Key purpose of this role is to track, measure and continuously drive T1 productivity within BUSA. This entails working closely with the T1 Carriers and Distribution Centers.
Key roles and responsibilities:
- Aligning the T1 operation and T1 productivity measures to global KPI’s and standards
- Defining T1 productivity KPI’s and PI’s linked to the overall Zone and BU Logistics strategy and goals
- Measuring, reporting and tracking productivity on daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Identifying productivity improvement opportunities
- Analysis of carrier and DC activities and operations
- Managing the discussion between all stakeholders that impact T1 productivity
- Defining and updating T1 SOP’s for internal and external stakeholders
- Key input into the budgeting process for BU South Africa T1 Transport and Warehouse
Requirements:
- 3 year tertiary degree, or diploma preferably in Supply Chain and or Logistics
- Minimum 2 years experience within Logistics
- Excellent presentation skills, able to convey a clear message
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong business acumen
- English proficient in writing and speaking
