Sales Admin Assistant (Chemical Manufacturing)

A well-established chemical manufacturing company situated on the East Rand requires a Sales Administration Assistant with highly pressurised Call Centre exposure to assist clients by providing sound technical knowledge on construction related products including concrete repairing, epoxy flooring, sealants, adhesives and general DIY products.

Main Activities

• Receive website enquiries daily and direct them as appropriate
• Manage special pricing process
• Manage sample stock process
• Assist with the generation of pro-forma invoices
• Assist in the completion of monthly reports in the prescribed format
• Provide customers with appropriate pricing
• Providing information e.g. MSDS date sheets and any relevant information to internal and external customers
• Assist in updating pro-forma daily list and managing the system
• Updating back order reports
• Assist with manual pro-formas' and quotes when the system is down
• Generate new product requests on the prescribed format
• Assist the Senior Sales Manager with his daily activities
• Secretarial and general administration functions for the Senior Sales Manager

Experience and Skills

• Grade 12
• Excel - Intermediate
• Knowledge of AccPac
• Manage difficult customers
• Excellent telephonic skills
• Bilingual

• Good people skills
• Works well under pressure and deadline driven
