Requirements:

This role is fully remote. You can work from anywhere in South Africa.

6–9 years experience working as a frontend developer or engineer

Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript

Experience working with a modern frontend framework such as React, Angular, or Vue

Solid understanding of HTML5 and CSS3

Experience working with RESTful APIs and integrating frontend with backend services

Experience working in an English speaking environment

Experience collaborating with UX/UI/Product designers

Skills:

Strong command of JavaScript and TypeScript fundamentals

Experience with state management (e.g. Redux, Vuex, NgRx)

Familiarity with module bundlers and build tools (e.g. Webpack, Vite)

Attention to detail with a strong sense of design and usability

Optimization of the application for performance and scalability

Implementing unit and integration tests (e.g. Jest, Cypress, Playwright)

Nice to have:

Experience with Node.js or server-side JavaScript (e.g. Next.js, Nuxt.js)

Familiarity with TypeScript generics, decorators, or advanced type patterns

Knowledge of CI/CD practices

Understanding of cross-browser compatibility and web accessibility standards
