Requirements:

• This role requires full-time office presence in Johannesburg.
• 4–5 years of relevant experience
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Hands-on experience with container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes or Docker Swarm
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Ansible
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
• Experience working in an English speaking environment

Nice to have:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows
• Familiarity with chaos engineering principles and tooling
• Experience with service mesh technologies (e.g. Istio, Linkerd)
• Prior background in software development or systems programming
• Knowledge of a backend language such as Go, Python, or Java
