POSITION INFO:
The Business Analyst (BA) plays a critical role in ensuring that all IT initiatives accurately reflect business needs and deliver value. This individual acts as the bridge between business stakeholders, project management, and development teams, translating requirements into clear, actionable specifications.
The BA is central to requirements definition, process documentation, change impact assessment, and solution validation, ensuring that what is built aligns precisely with business objectives.
Our Business Analyst will…
- Lead the elicitation, documentation, and validation of business and system requirements.
- Produce high-quality deliverables
- Ensure requirements are clear, testable, and aligned with business outcomes.
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Work closely with Project Managers and Developers to ensure shared understanding.
- Translate business needs into structured, development-ready specifications.
- Serve as the central point of contact for all change requests.
- Analyse and document the impact of proposed changes
- Provide recommendations and options before development begins, including risks and trade-offs.
- Collaborate with architects and developers to ensure solutions are fit-for-purpose.
- Ensure alignment with existing system architecture and enterprise landscape.
- Review and validate solutions to confirm they meet defined requirements.
- Proactively identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Apply structured problem-solving to business and system challenges.
- Support both BAU enhancements and large-scale transformation projects.
- Play a key role in change management initiatives.
- Develop training materials, user guides, and process documentation.
- Support user adoption through training sessions and stakeholder engagement.
- Build strong relationships across business units and IT.
- Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirement-gathering sessions.
- Manage expectations and ensure alignment throughout project lifecycles.
If you have these qualifications, join our team: Matric, MS Office Proficiency, Strong Numeracy And Excellent Communication Skills; Plus Strong Understanding Of System Architecture, Integrations, And Data Flows, Experience With: Process Modelling Tools (E.G. BPMN, Visio), Agile & Waterfall Methodologies, Requirements Management Tools (E.G. Jira, Confluence), Ability To Analyse Complex Systems And Dependencies, 5–10+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst (preferably in IT projects), Relevant certifications (advantageous): CBAP / CCBA; PMI-PBA; Agile / Scrum certifications
