I.T. Sales Consultant

An IT, a firm based in the South of Johannesburg, is looking for an experienced Sales & Marketing candidate.

• The ideal candidate must have sales and marketing experience, knowledge of IT / network infrastructure products.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Manage client needs from a sales perspective
• Candidate must be a self-starter and self-managed, reach monthly targets.
• Find and manage new business.

Core Functions

• Managing his/her cold call targets and performance;
• Updating the sales management systems, and report back to management.
• Performing sales presentations to prospective clients;

Managing Client Accounts

• Courtesy calls;
• Client visits;

Focus areas will include

Sales

• New business and marketing development;
• Selling hardware and software, SLA agreements to current and prospective clients;
• Manage client expectation management.

Marketing

• Marketing the Aston brand;
• Driving social media platforms

Skills/Requirements

• Microsoft Office competent;
• Understanding of service level agreements;
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills;
• General, sales/tele sales experience;
• Ability to both soft and hard sell a service;
