Operations Support Manager

SUMMARY:
Based in Nasrec Site Mech. (pref.) or Chem. Engineering degree Operational management experience of at least 5 years (mandatory)

POSITION INFO:

• Responsible for the operational overseeing and providing support to the Site Manager.
• Responsible for designing, developing and maintaining systems and processes to ensure efficient, safe and cost-effective production.
• Responsible for optimizing production workflows and driving continuous improvements in operations.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimize production systems.
• Lead projects from concept through implementation and commissioning.
• Design, develop, optimize, and troubleshoot chemical processes and equipment to improve efficiency, yield, and cost-effectiveness.
• Collaborate with all relevant departments to troubleshoot problems.
• Monitor daily production targets and throughputs from all relevant departments.
• Engage, evaluate, and manage vendors and contractors to ensure technical compliance, cost control, and timely delivery.
• Oversee system infrastructure development and drive continuous process improvements.
• Prepare technical reports, flow diagrams, cost estimates, and budgets to present during business review meetings.
• Support all operations departments in matters arising and RCA’s.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or Chemical Engineering
• Proven work experience in an operational management position (5 years’ experience).
• Strong knowledge of operations and processing
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong Organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
