SHERQ Manager

SUMMARY:
Purpose of the Role

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced SHERQ Manager to lead the company's Safety, Health, Environment, Risk and Quality function across multiple operational sites.

The successful candidate will drive legislative compliance, implement SHERQ strategies, lead audits, manage risk and promote a culture of continuous improvement across warehouse, distribution and retail operations.

POSITION INFO:
Key Requirements Grade 12 (Matric). National Diploma or Degree in Safety Management, Environmental Health, Risk Management, Quality Management or related field. SAMTRAC qualification (essential). ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 implementation and auditing experience. Minimum 5-7 years' SHERQ management experience within warehousing, , distribution, retail or industrial environments. Sound knowledge of South African OHS legislation and ISO standards. Experience managing compliance and multi-site operations. Strong leadership, reporting and stakeholder management skills. Valid driver's licence.
