A leading property management company seeks an experienced Financial Accountant to join their team in Sandton. This role offers the opportunity to manage financial operations for a landmark commercial property while contributing to longterm investment and growth in the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cashbook, and Revenue Recognition.

• Prepare budgets, forecasts, and timely monthly financial statements.

• Conduct monthend and yearend close processes.

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory reporting requirements.

• Oversee debtors control, reconciliations, and collections.

• Administer financial tasks on MDA Property Management System.

• Participate in audits and ensure strong internal controls.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in the property industry.

• Proven experience managing a large debtors book.

• Relevant financerelated degree or diploma.

• MDA Property Management System experience – essential.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.

• Advanced MS Excel skills and excellent analytical ability.

• High attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure.
