Stock controller/Planner

Compass Medical Waste Services is a leading provider of healthcare risk waste management solutions, committed to delivering safe, reliable, and environmentally responsible services to our customers. We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused (Reusable Container) RUC Planner to join our Operations team.

Purpose of the Role

The RUC Planner is responsible for the planning, scheduling, and management of RUC containers for Compass and Daniels in line with customer demand to ensure timely deliveries. The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to support operational excellence while ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule RUC containers according to customer requirements and operational capacity.
• Manage the daily allocation and replenishment of RUC containers to ensure uninterrupted service delivery.
• Assist with customer queries received directly or through Customer Service, Operations, and Sales teams.
• Process requests for additional RUCs, validate customer requirements, and update arrangements using approved systems and software.
• Provide customers with information regarding products, service offerings, and RUC container options.
• Communicate proactively with customers regarding any delivery delays and arrange suitable alternative delivery schedules.
• Liaise effectively with Operations, Customer Service, and Sales teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Monitor and analyze planning data to optimize container utilization and improve service efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting within company systems.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 (Matric).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Qualification in Administration will be advantageous.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong analytical and data-management abilities.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across multiple departments.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
