Maintenance Assistant (Handy Man)

Where You'll Make an Impact
Maintain outdoor gardens and landscaping, including mowing lawns, trimming trees and shrubs, watering plants, and general garden upkeep.
Manage outdoor debris removal, clean walkways, parking areas, gutters, and rainwater channels.
Ensure outdoor amenities are in top condition; clean and empty refuse bins weekly.
Perform general repairs such as replacing light bulbs, fixing drywalls, painting, and leak detection.
Diagnose and repair plumbing and electrical issues, start generators, check oil and fuel, and maintain electric gates.
Conduct fault finding on building or electric fence alarms.
Install structural fixtures, including flooring and ceiling tiles.
Carry out custodial duties, including trash removal, vacuuming, and mopping.
Attend to after-hours tasks such as fumigation, window cleaning, and alarm responses.
Respond promptly to maintenance requests from occupants or supervisors.
Follow safety protocols and collaborate with inspectors to ensure equipment safety.
Assist with construction or renovation projects.
Complete monthly electricity meter readings.

Requirements
Proven experience in maintenance or handyman roles
Skills in painting, plumbing, repairs, fault finding
Basic knowledge of C and R programming languages (nice-to-have)
Ability to perform general repairs and troubleshooting
Strong attention to safety and detail
Familiarity with the following
Electrical and plumbing systems
Building repairs and maintenance
Basic electrical wiring and leak detection
