Assistant Management Couple

Position 1: Assistant Lodge Manager / Field Guide
Requirements

• Qualified Field Guide with relevant guiding qualifications.
• Valid DEAT/EDTEA registration, where applicable.
• Valid driver's licence.
• Professional Driving Permit (PDP) advantageous/required where applicable.
• First Aid certification advantageous.
• Previous experience as a Field Guide within a game reserve or safari lodge.
• Strong knowledge of wildlife, fauna and flora.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional presentation and guest-service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a couple/team.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Comfortable working in a remote bush environment.
• Flexible and willing to assist across different lodge departments.

Position 2: Assistant Lodge Manager / Reservations & Administration
Requirements

• Previous experience in reservations, lodge administration, front office or hospitality operations.
• Previous experience in a safari lodge/game reserve environment is highly advantageous.
• Strong computer literacy and administrative skills.
• Experience with a reservations/property management system advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• High attention to detail.
• Professional and friendly approach to guest service.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Financial/admin experience advantageous.
• Valid driver's licence advantageous.
• Must be comfortable living and working in a remote lodge environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a couple.

• Be comfortable with a live-in bush/lodge environment.
• Demonstrate reliability, maturity and strong work ethic.
• Be able to maintain high standards of guest service at all times.
