Description

Main purpose of the position: Effective overall control and management of agricultural mechanisation parts and workshop to deliver a sustainable service to all XXXGroup clients with profitability.

Responsibilities

• Financial management, budgeting and cost control to ensure profitability.
• Personnel management including recruitment, training, performance management and development of workshop and parts staff.
• Control and management of administration, reporting and compliance.
• Market share growth through parts and workshop marketing initiatives and strong customer relationships.
• Management and maintenance of assets, workshop equipment and tooling.
• Inventory management to optimise stock levels, reduce obsolescence and ensure parts availability.
• Ensure high standards of service delivery and customer satisfaction across the XXX Group client base.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in workshop processes and parts supply chain.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 (Matric).
• 5–10 years’ experience in mechanisation (tractors, harvesters and sprayers), parts and workshop environment.
• Proven experience in parts and/or workshop marketing and management.
• Qualified agricultural technician with a focus on precision farming technology.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as required.
