Job description

Company and Job Description:
This role sits within a Finance and Risk team in a commercially focused environment where managing credit exposure is key. You will support IFRS 9 compliance contribute to ECL modelling and provide analysis to guide strategic decision-making.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Support IFRS 9 impairment modelling and ECL calculations
  • Perform stage classification (Stage 13) and monitor risk drivers
  • Analyse credit portfolios identifying trends and risk insights
  • Assist in improving credit policies scorecards and frameworks
  • Prepare credit risk reporting for key stakeholders
  • Work with large datasets using Excel SQL or BI tool

Job Experience and Skills Required:

  • Newly qualified CA(SA) or equivalent (CFA advantageous)
  • 2 years experience with IFRS 9 exposure advantageous
  • Strong analytical and financial modelling skills
  • Advanced Excel with SQL/Power BI/Python beneficial
