Duties & Responsibilities

Our client is a well-established specialist in façade cladding systems offering in-house design manufacturing and installation services. With a strong reputation built over many years they partner with leading contractors architects and developers on commercial and industrial projects across South Africa. The business is known for quality workmanship innovation and long-term client relationships.

Produce detailed shop and fabrication drawings from architectural plans for façade and cladding systems. Generate material take-offs works orders and manufacturing documentation. Manage drawing revisions and approvals coordinate with estimating factory and site teams and ensure technical accuracy. Assist with implementing modern drafting processes BIM technologies and automated detailing solutions.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Diploma or Degree in Draughting Architectural Technology Mechanical Drafting or related qualification.
• 13 years experience in drafting/detailing within the construction façade cladding aluminium sheet metal or structural steel industry.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; Revit or BIM exposure advantageous.
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail organisational skills and ability to meet project deadlines.
