A leading organisation isseeking a Laboratory Supervisor to oversee the delivery of high-quality medical laboratory services while ensuring compliance with quality standards operational efficiency and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities:
- Manage laboratory operations including equipment procurement validation maintenance calibration and troubleshooting.
- Develop implement and maintain laboratory processes policies and standard operating procedures.
- Oversee quality assurance programmes and ensure compliance with established laboratory standards.
- Drive laboratory efficiency through effective stock control workflow optimisation and cost management.
- Train mentor and support laboratory staff while promoting continuous professional development.
- Manage supplier relationships assessments and performance reviews.
- Ensure the delivery of accurate reliable and high-quality laboratory services.
Requirements:
- National Diploma in Medical Technology or BTech Degree.
- Current HPCSA registration.
- Advanced clinical pathology laboratory experience.
- Strong problem-solving communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Proven ability to lead teams maintain confidentiality and uphold high ethical standards.
- Adaptable flexible and committed to delivering excellence in a diverse working environment.
