Duties & Responsibilities

Job & Company Description:

Our client is an established consulting engineering practice renowned for delivering world-class building services solutions. They are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Building Services Engineer to lead the design coordination and delivery of electrical building services projects.
In this role you will oversee electrical designs from concept through construction manage client relationships mentor junior engineers and ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver technically sound and commercially successful projects while contributing to the continued growth of the business.

Education:

• BEng / BSc Engineering / BTech in Electrical Engineering
• Professional registration with ECSA (PrEng or PrTech Eng) highly advantageous

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• 8 years experience in Electrical Building Services Engineering
• Proven consulting engineering experience on commercial healthcare residential industrial and mixed-use developments
• Strong expertise in LV power distribution reticulation lighting design and standby power systems
• Experience with generator UPS solar PV and energy-efficient building solutions
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Revit MEP and electrical design software
• Strong understanding of SANS standards electrical regulations and building codes
• Ability to compile specifications BOQs technical reports and tender documentation
• Experience with construction monitoring site inspections and project handovers
• Proven client-facing business development and project leadership experience
• Strong mentoring and team management capabilities
