Join a well-established food manufacturing organisation operating within an integrated food value chain environment with large-scale processing production cold chain and distribution operations.

As a Millwright you will be responsible for maintaining troubleshooting and improving electrical and mechanical plant equipment within a high-capacity manufacturing facility. This role requires a hands-on technical professional who can work independently respond effectively to breakdowns and contribute to preventative maintenance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Diagnose and repair equipment faults to minimise production downtime.
• Perform fault finding on automated systems machinery and production equipment.
• Install maintain and commission industrial equipment.
• Assist with continuous improvement projects and equipment upgrades.
• Conduct inspections and identify potential equipment failures before breakdowns occur.
• Ensure compliance with health safety and operational standards.
• Support the maintenance team in achieving plant reliability targets.

Minimum Requirements:

• Qualified Millwright (Red Seal).
• Relevant technical qualification and trade test certification.
• Proven experience within a manufacturing FMCG food processing or industrial environment.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding capabilities.
• Experience working with production machinery and industrial equipment.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong commitment to safety quality and operational excellence.

Salary:

• The salary is open for discussion and will be market related in line with your qualifications skills and experience.
