CLEANERS HOUSEKEEPERS

Duties & Responsibilities
Clean and sanitise kitchen areas dining areas serving areas and workstations.
Sweep mop wash and maintain floors according to the cleaning schedule.
Clean tables counters chairs appliances and other surfaces.
Wash dishes utensils trays and kitchen equipment where required.
Empty bins and dispose of waste according to site procedures.
Refill cleaning supplies and report shortages to the supervisor.
Follow all hygiene food safety and health and safety requirements.
Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly.
Report any damages hazards or maintenance concerns to the relevant supervisor.
Assist with ad-hoc cleaning and support duties as and when required.

Experience & Qualification
Matric will be advantageous.
Previous cleaning experience in a canteen kitchen corporate or food service environment will be advantageous.
Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals hygiene procedures and safe handling of cleaning equipment.
Food safety awareness will be an added advantage.
