Are you a results-driven engineering sales professional with a proven track record in the mining and minerals processing sectors? A leading engineering player in the capital equipment space is seeking a high-caliber Product Sales Manager (Process) to lead full-cycle sales execution and drive revenue growth.
In this role, you will leverage your technical expertise to engage credibly with process engineers and mine planners, providing value-added mineral separation solutions to key players across the industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Generation: Own and execute the full-cycle sales process, targeting
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Engineering, with a strong preference for Process Engineering or Metallurgy.
- Experience: 5 to 8 years of engineering sales experience in a similar role within a Mining/Process Equipment or Consulting Engineering environment.
- Proven Success: Demonstrated track record of selling large-scale capital equipment into the mining and minerals processing markets.
Technical & Core Competencies
- Product Knowledge: Hands-on experience with mineral separation equipment is highly preferred, with specific knowledge in Processing equipment such as Jigs, UCC, DMS, and Sensor Sorting.
- Commercial Acumen: Expertise in costing, estimating, and navigating complex commercial and risk structures for large capital equipment tenders.
- Technical Literacy: Ability to deliver, pitch, and manage comprehensive written technical proposals and reports.
- Operations Savvy: Deep understanding of plant design and operations to hold peer-level technical discussions with mine planners and engineers.
- Tools & Mobility: Advanced computer literacy, a valid driver’s license with own transport, and a willingness to travel/stay on-site for extended periods as required.
