SAIPA TRAINEE ACCOUNTANTS Christo Prins Accountants, based in Paarl is looking for SAIPA Trainee Accountants with a strong work ethic and a “can-do” attitude to join their team. As a SAIPA Trainee Accountant, you will be an integral part of the team, assisting with a range of financial tasks and gaining valuable experience in the field. The successful candidates should aspire to become a Professional Accountant (SA). Responsibilities Interpreting clients’ accounting records and compiling annual financial statements (IFRS for SME’s) Processing of monthly transactions for VAT purposes and the reconciliation of records up to the trial balance status Performing tax calculations and completing income tax returns and provisional tax returns Performing VAT and PAYE calculations Assisting with various client matters, including administrative work Resolving queries (including SARS) Requirements Matric (Mathematics and Accounting) Accounting or Equivalent degree in progress \/ completed Work experience at a practice will be advantageous Strong computer literacy, especially Excel Experience with Sage online and DraftWorx will be advantageous Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent self-management skills Well-developed communication skills - Afrikaans and English
