Financial Accountant Up to R.00 Port Elizabeth

Are you a Financial Accountant who thrives on the factory floor rather than behind a corporate desk

Our client is looking for a commercially minded finance professional with hands-on manufacturing experience and a strong understanding of costing.

What Youll Be Doing:

• Manage the full financial accounting function
• Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
• Analyse manufacturing and production costs
• Manage raw material costing inventory valuation and cost allocations
• Monitor product costing and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Work closely with plant and operational management
• Prepare budgets forecasts and variance analysis
• Assist with month-end and year-end reporting
• Ensure compliance with financial policies and statutory requirements
• Drive continuous improvements in financial controls and reporting

What Were Looking For:

BCom Accounting or related finance qualification (essential)
Proven experience as a Financial Accountant within a manufacturing factory or plant environment (head office-only experience will not be suitable)
Strong cost accounting experience with exposure to raw material costing inventory and production costing
Experience with management accounts and financial reporting
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience will be advantageous
