Job Description

Create unforgettable luxury travel experiences in Cape Town, acting as a Luxury Tour Driver & Cultural Guide, serving as an ambassador of luxury hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a superior driving experience with exceptional soft-touch control, ensuring safe, smooth acceleration, braking, and cornering.
• Act as a Cultural Storyteller, providing engaging commentary and sharing history, culture, and stories of Cape Town, the Cape Winelands, and surrounding scenic routes.
• Anticipate guest needs and maintain a calm, welcoming atmosphere while demonstrating professionalism, discretion, and high service standards.
• Prepare and care for the vehicle: conduct a full pre-shift inspection, ensure cleanliness, refueling, stocking of guest amenities, and maintain cleanliness during guest stops.
• Report any mechanical issues, damage, or maintenance needs promptly to management.
• Maintain the highest levels of privacy and discretion with high-profile guests.

Qualifications

• Tourist Guide certificate (strong advantage).
• Valid Code 10 (C1) or Code 14 (EC) driver’s license.
• Valid Professional Driving Permit (PrDP) with P-Category endorsement.
• Minimum 4 years’ experience in luxury tourism or boutique/high-end travel.
• Strong knowledge of Cape Town, the Cape Winelands, and surrounding scenic routes.
• Strong communication skills; languages German, French, or Dutch highly advantageous.
• Impeccably presented, punctual, articulate, and comfortable interacting with high-profile guests.
• High discretion with strong attention to privacy and service standards.
