Business Developer Employer Engagement Liaison

A leading organisation is seeking a dynamic Business Developer / Employer Engagement Liaison to join their team and drive impactful employer partnerships across the region. This role offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced business development professional to contribute to a programme focused on connecting talented graduates with quality work opportunities while strengthening inclusive economic growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing employer engagement strategies identifying and securing new corporate partnerships managing key stakeholder relationships and positioning the programme as a preferred talent pipeline. They will engage with employers industry bodies government institutions and development partners to create sustainable placement opportunities and support programme success.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute employer engagement and business development strategies aligned with programme objectives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate partners and senior stakeholders.
• Identify new partnership opportunities and manage employer onboarding processes.
• Facilitate graduate placement opportunities by aligning employer needs with participant talent.
• Represent the programme at networking events industry forums and stakeholder engagements.
• Prepare reports track partnership performance and provide insights to improve programme outcomes.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Business Management Marketing Human Resources Public Relations Commerce Economics Development Studies or a related field.
• 57 years experience in business development partnerships recruitment account management or stakeholder engagement.
• Proven experience building strategic partnerships and engaging with corporate organisations and senior executives.
• Strong negotiation presentation communication and relationship management skills.
• Knowledge of labour market trends talent acquisition practices workforce development and employability initiatives.
• Experience working across Southern Africa or within youth development skills development or employment programmes will be advantageous.
• Strong commercial acumen organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Willingness and ability to travel regionally with a valid passport.
