Job description
R&D Manager Cape Town Minimum requirements: - Minimum 8-10 yearsâ experience in R&D or Product Development - 3-5 yearsâ experience in a management or leadership role, including the supervision and development of engineering teams. - Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary engineering teams, including hardware, firmware, software, or electronic design engineers. - Demonstrated experience leading product development projects from concept through design, testing, certification, production release, and product lifecycle management. - Experience in electronic hardware design, embedded systems, firmware development, or related technical engineering disciplines. - Proven experience in project planning, budgeting, resource allocation, risk management, and project execution. Responsibilities: - Research and Development Strategy and Innovation - Project Management and Product Development - Engineering Design and Technical Leadership - Product Compliance and Quality Assurance - Continuous Improvement and Cross-Functional Collaboration - People Management and Leadership
