Sales Representative
West Rand
Are you a motivated Sales Representative with a passion for technical sales and building strong client relationships? We are looking for a driven professional to join a leading company in the fire protection industry. Candidates with fire protection experience or a strong technical background are encouraged to apply.
POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:
â Generate new business opportunities and grow existing client accounts.
â Promote and sell fire protection products and services, including fire extinguishers, fire detection systems, sprinkler systems, suppression systems, signage, and maintenance services.
â Conduct client site visits and perform basic fire risk assessments to recommend suitable solutions.
â Prepare accurate quotations in accordance with SANS 1475 and SABS standards.
â Build and maintain relationships with contractors, facility managers, safety officers, procurement teams, and other key stakeholders.
â Achieve monthly sales targets and maintain accurate sales reports and KPIs.
â Work closely with technicians and service teams to ensure excellent customer service and project delivery.
â Keep up to date with fire safety legislation, standards, and industry developments.
Minimum Requirements:
â Grade 12 (Matric).
â Proven sales experience, preferably in the fire protection, technical, industrial, engineering, or safety industry.
â Experience within the fire protection industry will be a distinct advantage.
â Good understanding of SANS 1475 and related fire safety standards is advantageous.
â A strong technical background (mechanical, electrical, engineering, or similar) will also be considered.
â Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
â Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently.
â Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
