Introduction We are seeking a highly skilled, hands‑on Diesel Mechanic with strong experience working on mobile cranes. The ideal candidate must have solid hydraulic and electrical circuit knowledge, excellent fault‑finding ability, and proven technical competence. This role requires more than routine servicing — we need an experienced technician capable of diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex crane systems independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on mobile cranes.

• Conduct advanced fault‑finding on hydraulic and electrical circuits.

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair diesel engines and crane components.

• Ensure cranes remain fully operational and safe for use.

• Complete breakdown repairs and attend to urgent call‑outs when required.

• Maintain accurate service records and job cards.

• Work independently and provide technical guidance when needed.

• Identify potential failures and recommend preventative maintenance actions.

• Ensure compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.

Minimum Requirements

• 5–10 years’ experience as a Diesel Mechanic or Field Service Technician working on mobile cranes.

• Strong hydraulic and electrical circuit knowledge.

• Proven experience in fault‑finding (critical requirement).

• Ability to diagnose and repair complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues.

• Valid driver’s licence.

• Ability to work independently and under pressure.

• Hands‑on, experienced technician — routine servicing alone is not sufficient.
