POSITION INFO:

Our client is seeking a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes, maintaining excellent kitchen standards, assisting with stock control, and overseeing kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Professional Cookery (City & Guilds or equivalent)

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar chef role

• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen equipment, and food preparation best practices

• Experience with stock takes, ordering, and stock management

• Proficient in MS Office and restaurant management software

• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to manage kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef

• Team player with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Willing to relocate

• Must be willing to work weekends, public holidays, and the festive season
