Packaging Supervisor

Duties

• Oversee packaging line activities, ensuring optimal efficiency in filling, labelling, and shipping processes

• Implement and monitor quality control protocols, conducting regular inspections to maintain standards

• Manage packaging stock and consumables efficiently, ensuring resource optimisation

• Uphold the company's brand image and values through consistent packaging standards

• Foster open communication and collaboration within the team, while working independently when required

• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations, including safe work procedures, proper use of protective equipment and incident reporting

• Complete all Quality Management System (QMS) / ISO related actions for the packaging area

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in packaging supervision or a similar role

• Matric or equivalent

• Technical knowledge of packaging processes, batch sheets, labelling requirements, and manufacturing protocols.

Familiarity with the following

• ISO standards and QMS procedures
