Our client, a leading player in the FMCG, production and manufacturing sectors, is seeking a skilled Field Technician / Field Engineer to join their on-site team in Blackheath, Cape Town. Non-negotiable Requirements: - Millwright / Electrical / Mechanical Engineering qualification - Minimum 5 years' experience in a Technical / Manufacturing environment - Strong hands-on ability with a passion for producing detailed written reports - Excellent planning, organisational and client interaction skills - Business English proficiency (written and verbal) - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) - Solid attendance record with sound references - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - Strong adherence to quality as well as health and safety standards - Vali driver's license and passport for travelling both nationally and internationally - Live in Western Cape Responsibilities: - Technical and after-sales support - Write and validate technical information use for documentation - Develop and maintain a database of technical specifications and information - Supply technical information to marketing, sales, spares and customers - Participate in projects and research as required - Conduct testing and validations - Deliver training sessions - Travel nationally and internationally for training, projects, commissioning and fault finding Working Hours · Monday - Thursday: 08:00 - 16:30 · Friday: 08:00 – 16:00 Salary: · To be discussed To apply, forward a detailed CV immediately so as to ensure you don't miss out on this amazing opportunity!
