Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the uptime, reliability, and resilience of our critical data processing platforms and APIs. You will work closely with development, operations, and data teams to maintain high-performance systems that support large-scale analytics and operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain robust infrastructure for data processing platforms and APIs.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations to ensure uptime and resilience.
• Develop and maintain automated processes for deployment, scaling, and recovery.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure systems meet reliability and performance standards.
• Lead incident response efforts and drive root cause analysis for production issues.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to enhance infrastructure efficiency and scalability.
• Document infrastructure designs, procedures, and operational guidelines.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering or systems administration, preferably in large-scale data environments.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Proficient in scripting/automation (Python, Bash, Terraform, or similar).
• Deep understanding of networking, security, and system monitoring tools.
• Experience with high-availability, fault-tolerant, and scalable system architectures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
