Junior Data Analyst (Backup and Storage Analyst)

We are looking for a junior professional to join the Backup and Storage team responsible for protecting and maintaining organisational data across on-premises and cloud environments. You'll collaborate with infrastructure engineers, support teams, and security specialists to ensure that backups are reliable, recoverable, and compliant with operational standards. As a Junior Data Analyst, you'll play a key role in monitoring and supporting backup and storage operations while developing deeper technical expertise in data protection technologies.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

• Diploma, Degree, or Certification in Information Technology or a related field (A+ / N+ advantageous).
• Previous exposure to IT support, system administration, or infrastructure environments.
• Basic understanding of backup or storage concepts (advantageous but not required).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow structured processes and maintain accurate documentation.
• Willingness to learn specialised backup and storage technologies.
• Flexibility to work shifts, including night shifts and weekends, in a 24/7 support environment.
