A leading organisation is seeking a Business Tax Area Lead: Financial Services to provide strategic leadership within a highly specialised environment. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in driving compliance enhancing operational performance and leading high-performing multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement tactical strategies that drive revenue performance and compliance within the financial services sector.
• Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams to achieve operational excellence and strategic objectives.
• Oversee risk assessments audits and compliance initiatives to support business goals.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders while promoting service excellence.
• Drive continuous improvement by optimising processes policies systems and operational practices.
• Manage budgets resources and performance to ensure efficient delivery against strategic plans.
• Provide coaching mentoring and technical guidance to develop high-performing teams.
• Analyse business performance and industry trends to inform strategic decision-making and future planning.

Requirements:

• BCom (Hons) in Taxation Commerce or Law.
• 1012 years experience within the financial services sector including Banking Insurance Investment & Asset Management Capital Markets Financial Advisory or FinTech.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams and managing large corporate or multinational client portfolios.
• At least 34 years experience in a senior management role.
• Strong strategic planning business acumen and operational leadership skills.
• Extensive knowledge of tax compliance auditing governance risk management and financial management.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement communication analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire teams drive innovation and translate strategy into measurable business results.
