Job: YC: IPS Support Buyer

UD Trucks is known for our pioneering technologies and products within the commercial automotive industry. The position involves providing support to the senior buyer in various areas within Purchasing, including following up on orders, contracts, and communication with internal stakeholders and suppliers. Success in this role entails efficient administration of purchasing systems, accurate data analysis and reporting, and effective assistance in the purchasing process. The position requires strong communication, interpersonal, administrative, and time management skills, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and database management. A qualification in Business Administration, logistics, or supply chain management is preferred. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring smooth operations within the Purchasing department and contributes to the overall efficiency and success of the company\'s procurement processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist buyers in following up on orders, contracts and filing
• Assist buyers in communication with internal stakeholders and suppliers
• Update supplier information in databases
• Support in administration of purchasing systems
• Provide general support to buyers in purchasing process
• Assist on data analysis and reporting
• Other administrative tasks

Qualifications

• A qualification in Business Administration, logistics or supply chain management is preferred.
