Duties & Responsibilities

• Source, negotiate, and procure products, materials, components and goods in line with Company requirements.

• Ensure purchases meet quality, cost and delivery targets.

• Prepare and process purchase orders and order schedules accurately and timeously.

• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment with procurement, logistics and management teams.

• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure reliable and cost-effective supply.

• Conduct market research and monitor pricing trends, competitor activities and supplier performance.

• Analyse costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and improved efficiency.

• Maintain and update supplier databases and procurement records.

• Compile and submit daily, weekly and monthly procurement reports.

• Manage procurement-related projects and take ownership of assigned ad hoc initiatives.

• Liaise with suppliers, production teams, management and internal departments to ensure smooth operations.

• Ensure compliance with Company purchasing policies, procedures and delivery protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a purchasing, procurement, or buyer role.

• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

• Excellent analytical and cost-management abilities.

• Good understanding of supply chain and inventory management principles.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

• Strong administrative and reporting skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
