Qualifications & Requirements:

• BEng/MEng in Electrical Engineering.
• 2â5+ years of experience in electrical design engineering (preferably LV/MV systems).
• Experience with solar PV, commercial inverters, microgrids, and grid code compliance in both LV and MV situations.

Technical Skills:Â

• Proficiency in simulation tools (MATLAB/Simulink)
• CAD software for schematic design
• Understand protection equipment
• Reticulation design and familiarity with power semiconductor devices (IGBTs, MOSFETs).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Development:Â Conceptualize and design power electronics circuits, including inverter topologies, magnetic components, SLDâs for products.
• Testing & Validation:Â Write and perform hands-on testing of prototypes. Understanding of inverter safety standards is a plus.
• Production Support:Â Optimize manufacturing processes following quality standards (e.g., ISO9001).
• Component Evaluation:Â Evaluate and select components for efficiency, cost-saving, and obsolescence management.
• Technical Documentation: Create and maintain schematics, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and technical reports.Â
