Key Responsibilities
Financial & Investment Planning: Formulate personalized financial, investment, retirement, and estate plans based on strategies set by Advisers.
Proposals & Reviews: Research, compare, and prepare comprehensive investment proposals, portfolio reviews, and product recommendations across major product houses.
Risk & Insurance Analysis: Draw and compare quotations from various insurers, conducting side-by-side product comparisons to identify optimal client solutions.
Compliance & Administration: Ensure all documentation adheres strictly to FAIS, FICA, and POPI legislation. Prepare applications, process transfers, and handle client inquiries.
Estate Planning: Assist with estate planning strategies and drafting of Wills.
Partner Relations: Liaise directly with product providers to manage and expedite applications and client requests.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: Relevant Financial / Investment Degree or Diploma.
Experience:
Minimum 3 years in a financial/investment environment.
At least 2 years direct experience within an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA) practice.
Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of South African financial products (Old Mutual, Liberty, Momentum, etc.), tax planning, retirement, risk, and estate planning concepts.
Software & Tech: Advanced MS Office skills (especially Excel); experience with financial planning software (atWork experience is highly advantageous).
Licensing: Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle.
