Are you an accomplished accounting professional with a passion for financial leadership, governance, and strategic decision-making? Our client is seeking a highly experienced Head of Accounting to lead the accounting function, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and sound financial governance across the business. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional to play a key leadership role within a dynamic and globally aligned manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Lead all financial accounting and reporting functions, ensuring accurate and timely statutory reporting. Oversee the preparation of company and group consolidated annual financial statements. Manage inventory accounting, costing, management accounting integrity, and accounts payable. Ensure compliance with IFRS, group accounting standards, and all relevant financial regulations. Oversee APDP, Production Incentive (PI), EUR1, and Automotive Investment Scheme (AIS) accounting and claims. Build strong relationships with auditors, government stakeholders, and group teams while providing strategic financial leadership. Requirements Chartered or Accounting Honours with completed articles. 5–7 years' experience in a financial accounting environment with strong financial reporting exposure. Experience within complex audit, regulatory, or reporting environments will be advantageous. Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting standards, and accounting principles. Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, analytical, and strategic thinking skills. High levels of integrity, commercial acumen, and sound business judgement.
