The Opportunity

We are seeking a high-caliber Wealth Investment Manager (VP) to drive strategic growth by acquiring, retaining, and managing Assets Under Management (AUM). In this role, you will deliver holistic local and international wealth advice, demonstrate strategic thought leadership, and act as a trusted advisor to sophisticated private clients.

Key Responsibilities

• AUM Growth & Retention: Proactively identify and manage wealth opportunities across HNW, UHNW, and Family Office segments.

• Holistic Advisory: Provide bespoke, open-architecture global investment strategies tailored to complex client portfolios.

• Strategic Leadership: Translate local and macroeconomic trends into actionable investment insights.

• Stakeholder Influence: Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-impact, client-centric wealth solutions.

What We Are Looking For

Qualifications & Certifications

• Education: NQF Level 8 (Postgraduate / Honors / Master''s degree in Finance, Investments, Economics, Law, Business Administration, or Accounting/Tax).

• Certifications: Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation.

• Regulatory: RE5 Representative Certificate.

• FAIS Status: Fully Fit & Proper (ideally not currently under supervision for wealth advisory sub-categories).

Experience & Attributes

• Track Record: 3–5+ years of proven experience in Investment Management with a demonstrated sales track record in high-net-worth segments.

• Market Insight: Deep understanding of local and international economic trends, macro/micro indicators, and global wealth structuring.

• Technical Sharpness: Strong quantitative analysis, risk evaluation, numerical reasoning, and digital savviness.

• Relationship Building: Exceptional networking, persuasive communication, and high-level interpersonal skills with senior stakeholders and private clients.
