Fuel Cell Electrocatalyst R&D Scientist/Engineer

Mintek in Randburg seeks a Scientist/Engineer to develop PGM electrocatalysts for PEM fuel cells and electrolysers. You will perform electrochemical and physicochemical analyses and work with the Fuel Cell team on pilot MEA production using HySA catalysts.

The role requires 2–3 years in PEM or heterogeneous catalysis, with publications and SHEQ familiarity advantageous, and offers a permanent contract in a research-driven environment.
