Ensure that inspections and repairs are conducted on all machinery
Install new mechanical related equipment and upgrades
Identify faults during preventative maintenance checks and ensure certificates of compliance are issued
Produce yearly work schedules and ensure budget is adhered to
Ensure compliance with OSHACT and PPE regulations
Implement safety precautions and corrective actions so that unsafe conditions are eliminated
Demonstrate strong inspirational leadership, administrative and organizational abilities in managing the team of technical staff
Work as part of a team or individually to deliver high quality standards consistently and accurately.
Essential pre-requisites:
Grade 12 with a Mechanical T4/N6 certificate and mechanical trade test qualification
Experience on OHS act, General machinery regulations
Good inter-personal skills
Ability to communicate in English with management, staff and customers
An apprenticeship recognized by the Department of Labour
Minimum three years mechanical experience
