Job: Graduate Mechanical Engineer

Over the course of two years, our Graduate Development Program will immerse you in the core areas of Mechanical Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Assist with mechanical engineering project design, planning, and execution for mining and engineering projects.
• Support site installation, commissioning, and operational activities to ensure successful project implementation.
• Conduct technical analysis and apply engineering principles to solve mechanical design and operational challenges.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality engineering solutions.
• Participate in site inspections, testing, and commissioning activities, including travel to remote project locations.
• Develop business awareness by understanding how engineering decisions impact project performance, costs, and operational outcomes.
• Engage in structured professional development, mentoring, and continuous learning to build technical and industry expertise.

Qualifications

• Have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Are a South African citizen with a valid South African ID.
• Demonstrate strong academic performance and a thirst for continuous learning.
• Enjoy solving problems and thinking analytically.
• Thrive in team environments and communicate effectively.
• Are curious, driven, and excited about shaping the future of mining and engineering.
