Responsibilities

• Assist with civil and structural engineering design for mining infrastructure projects.
• Support civil project engineering activities, including planning, coordination, and project execution.
• Participate in site supervision to monitor construction activities and ensure compliance with engineering standards.
• Contribute to civil engineering consulting by assisting with technical analysis, reports, and engineering solutions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality project outcomes.
• Apply engineering principles to solve technical problems while supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
• Participate in structured professional development, training, and mentoring to build technical and industry expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• South African born
• Valid driver's license
• Strong academic record with a passion for continuous learning
• Exceptional problem‑solving skills and a natural aptitude for analytical thinking
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Enthusiasm for exploring new concepts and pushing the boundaries of engineering in the mining industry
