Software Quality Engineer

Our client is a global technology organisation with over 25 years of experience delivering secure, accurate, and innovative communication solutions to more than 1,500 customers worldwide. They are seeking an experienced Software Quality Engineer to join their Agile team and drive quality across a range of web and desktop applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases.
• Perform manual and automated testing across web and desktop applications.
• Conduct regression testing and validate software enhancements.
• Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution.
• Collaborate with Agile teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within QA processes and practices.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years' experience as a Software Quality Engineer.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing tools, and best practices
• Experience with Agile methodologies and SDLC/STLC environments.
• Hands-on experience with JIRA, Xray, or similar testing and project management tools.
• Strong working knowledge of HTML, XML, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Experience testing both Windows and web-based applications.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Document processing, ECM, or financial services experience will be advantageous.
