Facilities Consultant

Job Advert Summary

The purpose for this role is to coordinate activities related to the maintenance and to manage office furniture office stationeries supplies and groceries. Facilitate and coordinate building space optimization as well as staff office allocation. Liaise with the contractors for building maintenance and/or office equipment repairs ensure maintenance to all office appliances and all activities related to Facilities.

Ensure that a safe efficient and effective working environment that complies with applicable building regulations such as South African National Standards (SANS) 10400 Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) ACT is maintained. This position will also be responsible for all Security and Safety related activities.

Minimum Requirements

Qualifications

Matric or equivalent
NQF Level 6 qualification in Facility Management and/or related Construction Management is an added advantage
Registration with the South African Council for Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP) will be an advantage

Experience

Minimum 5 Years relevant experience in Facilities and/or Contracts Management and/or related field.
