Petrol Attendent

Job Overview: We are currently seeking a reliable and customer-focused Petrol Attendant to join our team in Durban. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional service and a strong understanding of the petrol industry. Key Responsibilities: - Greet customers as they arrive at the petrol station and assist with fueling their vehicles - Process transactions accurately and efficiently using the petrol stations POS system - Monitor fuel levels and ensure that pumps are always stocked and ready for customers - Follow safety procedures and guidelines when handling and dispensing fuel - Keep the petrol station clean and organized including restocking merchandise and maintaining a clean work area - Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns and resolving any issues in a timely manner - Promote and upsell additional products and services such as car washes or snacks to customers - Perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking tire pressure and oil levels for customers upon request - Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and maintain a positive work environment Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous experience in a customer service role preferably in the petrol industry - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously - Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed - Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects such as fuel hoses and merchandise - Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines for handling and dispensing fuel - Professional and friendly demeanor with a customer-first mindset If you are passionate about providing exceptional service and have a strong understanding of the petrol industry we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity with Msuez Uk in Durban.
