Introduction

• To manage and support the replenishing process ensuring that picking team aligns with work flow.
• Storage of received items in a chronological order. Expiry date management in the production and replenished bins
• Risk management within deliveries and packing of stock.
• FIFO and FIFO principles to be applied. Process Management and reporting on expiry date management, damaged item analysis.
• Allocate work, monitor productivity and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Supervise and lead the picking team to achieve daily operational targets.
• Monitor order priorities to ensure urgent and scheduled deliveries are processed on time.

• To ensure Medipost Gezina has efficient Stock and consumables to dispense the required Rx’s within the set time frame and budget as per company expectation.
• Ensuring the Replenishing of all stock into picking bin.
• Ensuring Stock Rotation and Expiry date SOP’s are followed.
• Ensuring that all stock is allocated to the correct bins at all times.

People Management

Ensuring that care is taken in managing the team with regards to:

• Capturing of leave on ESS. Handing out daily responsibilities should they differ from normal tasks?
• KPA submissions.
• In house training should a procedure change.
• Encouraging growth and knowledge transfer within the department.
• Ensuring that all members adhere to policies and procedures.
• Management of overtime and capturing it on .ESS
• IR Disciplinary Actions (warnings counseling sessions).
• Creating Saturday Flexi Rosters every month.

SOP Management

Responsible to ensure that the following happens with regards to SOP’s:

• Implementation of all SOP’s.
• Updating relevant SOP’s when changes are made.
• Creating new SOP’S should it be required. .
• Continuous training of SOP’s within the department.

Time Management

Responsible to ensure that the following happens with regards to Time management:

• Management of time and attendance on ESS.
• Reporting any issues with regards to a member’s time management (disciplining /counseling).
• Monitoring of members time management during the day.

Operational Management

Responsible to ensure that the following happens with regards to operational management:

• Ensure that replenishes do not leave work before completing their daily duties.
• Ensure that replenishes assist all main shelf as well as ARV shelf with consolidation and bin clean up upon entry and exiting work.
• Ensure that there’s accurate picking
• Ensure that out of stocks are communicated with both replenishing and picking team.
• Ensure that quarantine area is clear and no stock left behind in the receiving area.
• Ensure all stock in production is packed in a neat and tidy manner. NB!!
• Ensure that bin maintenance is done by all replenishes on a regular basis as well as expiry and soon to expire list done monthly

QUALIFICATIONS

EXPERIENCE

• Picking & Replenishing experience of 1 - 2 years
• Medipost app: Extensive knowledge of the stock division on the app
• Registered with SAPC
