Our client, a leading Financial Service Provider (FSP) based in Sandton, is looking for a driven MI Analyst to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a mid-to-junior analyst who excels at translating raw data into meaningful reports, identifying trends, and supporting key business decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting & Analysis: Prepare, maintain, and deliver accurate Management Information (MI) reports and dashboards to support day-to-day business operations.
Data Exploration: Analyze operational data and historical trends to highlight insights, key metrics, and areas for process improvement.
Stakeholder Support: Collaborate with internal teams to understand their reporting needs, answer data queries, and ensure reporting accuracy.
Data Quality & Maintenance: Assist in monitoring data integrity, maintaining reporting systems, and adhering to strict data governance standards.
Process Optimization: Help streamline reporting processes and data workflows to increase efficiency across the team.
Requirements:
Education: A Bachelors Degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or a related quantitative field.
Experience: 13 years of hands-on experience in a Data Analytics or Reporting role.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and statistical or BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Python, or R).
Industry Experience: Previous experience within the Financial Services sector is a strong advantage.
Mindset: Strong problem-solving abilities, high attention to detail, and a keen eagerness to learn and grow within the team.
