Facilities Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe, compliant, efficient and cost-effective operation of the facility and for coordinating all assigned hard and soft facilities management services.

Minimum requirements:

• A relevant qualification in Facilities Management, Engineering, Building Management, Property Management, Construction Management or a related built-environment field.
• Proven facilities management experience within a commercial, public-sector, institutional or large office environment.
• Demonstrated experience in managing multidisciplinary hard and soft services, contractors and operational teams.
• Sound working knowledge of planned maintenance, reactive maintenance, statutory compliance, occupational health and safety and emergency procedures.
• Strong administrative, reporting, financial-control and stakeholder-management capabilities.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office; experience with a CAFM or computerized maintenance management system will be advantageous.
• Professional membership or registration with a recognized facilities management or built-environment body will be advantageous.
• A valid driver's license and the ability to work full-time at the Pretoria CBD site will be advantageous.
